Jimmy Harwood came to First Baptist Church in November of 2022. He has served in full-time worship ministry since 2012. Prior to full-time ministry, Jimmy was in public education as a teacher and administrator while serving in the local church part-time. He and his wife, Marla, met in college and have been married for over 25 years. They have two beautiful daughters, Addy and Jensyn. He has a bachelor’s in Psychology and a master’s in Education/Administration from Southeaster Oklahoma State University. Jimmy has a passion for spending time with his family, leading others in worship, and building relationships with people.
